Amelia "Lucy" (Feliciani) Isley, 93, of Pennsburg, died Saturday,
March 18, 2017 at the Pennsburg Manor, where she was a resident for the last several years. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles L. Isley, Jr., who died in 2003.
Lucy was a graduate of Temple University's School of Nursing. She also served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nursing Corps during World War II, where she earned the World War II Victory Medal. She was also an active member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise A. Bowers, of Hatfield; son, Joseph D. Isley and his wife, M. Gwendolyn, of Pennsburg; one granddaughter, Charlotte M. McGillen, and her husband, Joseph J., of Pennsburg; one grandson, Joseph D. Isley, Jr., and his wife, Kerilyn, of Richmond, VA; and six great grandchildren, Joseph, Charles, Christian, Gabriel, Evan, and Katherine Amelia. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her son, Charles L. Isley, III, who was killed in Vietnam in November of 1966; and her four brothers, Patrick, John J., James, and Alfred Feliciani.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073. A visitation will precede Mass from 10 AM to 11 AM in the church. Interment private.
