Mildred M. (Young) Culhane, 94, widow of Leo B. Culhane, of Pennsburg, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem.

            Born in Pennsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Osborne F. and Rebecca (Frye) Young.

            Mildred worked as a secretary at O. F. Young and Son in Pennsburg for many years, retiring in 1972.

            She was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.  She also enjoyed cooking, baking, picnics and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also was an avid Eagles fan.

            Surviving are her two daughters, Gloria J. Filling of Quakertown and Lois M. Culhane of Pennsburg; three sisters, Harriet Bowman of East Greenville, Bernice, wife of Nick Craggs of Churchtown and Anna Franzone of Norristown; three grandsons, Jeff Frederick and Joel and Jon Filling and 7 great grandchildren.  Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by brothers, Norman, John and Donald Young and sisters, Mary Krause, Ruth Klebe, Jane Istbenes and Dorothy Shupe.

            A private memorial service will be held at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA  18041.
