Richard Dennis Cressman
2017-03-14

            Richard Dennis Cressman age 67, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Pennsburg, PA, he was a son of the late Louise and Septimus W. Cressman, Jr.  

            Mr. Cressman graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed and retired from J.W. Rex Heat Treating in Lansdale, PA.  He and his wife Nancy retired in 2004 and moved to Myrtle Beach where he enjoyed hunting, fishing watching NASCAR, wood carving, gardening and helping neighbors.

            He is preceded in death by a sister in law, Shirley, two brothers in law Irwin "Sonny" and Norman.

            Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Nancy Cressman; a son, Scott Lee Cressman and his wife Karmen; grandsons, Trevor and Trey Cressman; stepsons, Dennis, Jeffrey, Michael and Scott; a step grandson, Bryce; a step granddaughter, Shannon; siblings, Floyd Cressman and wife Rosie, Paul Cressman, Pauline Cressman Nester, Janet Cressman Fulmer, Carol Cressman Hill, Ernest Cressman and wife Shirl and multiple nieces, nephews and many friends.

            Services will be private.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231 or American Cancer Society, 950 48th Ave. N., Suite 101 Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
