Ronald F. Leister
2017-03-09

            Ronald "Ronnie" F. Leister, 92, of Red Hill, died March 7, 2017 at Grand View Hospital. He was the husband of Irene A. (Arenz) Leister, celebrating 47 years of marriage October 22, 2016.

            Born in Schwenksville, PA, he was the son of the late P. Frank and Annie (Schearer) Leister.

            He served in the US Army during WWII.

            Ronnie was a Truck Driver for Indian Valley Bulk Carriers for 34 years until his retirement.

            In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Ronald F. Leister, Jr. and wife, Donna, Randy Leister and Deborah, wife of Joseph Clark; step-children, Gary Haines and wife, Carolyn and George Haines, Jr.; three step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren and one step great great-grandson.

            Services will be private. Cremation entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.   Offer sympathy at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
