Leo "Mick" E. Singer
2017-03-07

            Leo "Mick" E. Singer, 87, of Bridgeville. DE, passed away on

March 1, 2017 at home, surrounded by family, after a lengthy illness.  Mick was the husband of Carol Green Singer.   

         He was born on February 11, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA.  He formerly resided in Bensalem, PA and Pennsburg, PA.   He was a truck driver for Pepsi-Cola and a delivery man for Sears Signal Delivery Service·for many years.

            He enjoyed visiting family and friends, watching old movies, playing cards and going to the casinos.

            He is survived by his wife Carol and his daughter, Karen, wife of Michael Schwenk of East Greenville and son, Michael of Chicago, IL,  grandchildren Brian and Bridget McKeon of Pennsburg, Amanda, wife of Paul Sheridan, and Corinne, East Greenville, and great grandchildren: Michael, Samantha, Miranda, Emily, Coby and Jacob; 2 brothers, Robert and John, and 2 sisters, Mary and Ruth; 3 step-daughters, Lori Ferguson, Lisa Stiim, and Leigh Cooper; 10 step-grandchildren and one great step-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Nickle; and daughter, Leslie; brothers, Ed and Jerry, and sisters, Anna, Catherine, and Florence.

            A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Saint Matthews By The Sea United Methodist Church, 1000 Coastal Hwy, Fenwick Island, DE 19944.  Services begin at 1 PM.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Saint Matthews by the Sea United Methodist Church or V.I.T.A.S. Healthcare, 20773 Professional Park Blvd., Ste. 200, Georgetown. DE 19947.
