Mary V.  (Nunan) Moffett of Auburn, Pa died un-expectantly at St. Joseph's Hospital in Reading, Pa on February 19, 2017.

She was a high school graduate of St. Pius X in the class of 1966. She was a past student at Kutztown University studying early childhood education and librarianship.

She was the wife and homemaker of the late Harold B. Moffett of Palm, Pa. who died in 2010. She had many occupations in the fields of education, journalism and librarianship, as well as caregiving and dietary.

Mary enjoyed gardening, travel, and knitting, as well as reading, creative writing, and spending time with friends and family. Mary very much enjoyed spending time with her grandson Daniel P. Moffett of Auburn.  She was known to many as a kind and humorous person.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen A. Moffett of Newport, NC, Daniel B. Moffett of Slatington, PA, Theresa S. Moffett and her fiancé Scott K. Sailor of Peekskill, NY;  siblings,  Dennis Nunan of Perkiomenville and Phyllis Nunan of Hereford; three grandchildren Daniel P. Moffett, Evan P. Moffett, and Trina F.
