Edwin Fels
2017-02-28

            Edwin Fels, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully at Belle Haven

Nursing Home on Saturday, February 25, 2017.  He was 96 years old.  Born in Quakertown to the late Ernest and Rose (Wolf) Fels, he was also the loving husband of the late Sarah (Kriebel) Fels, who passed away in 1985.
            Mr. Fels was a well driller and worked for Wonsidler Well Drilling, Inc. for 25 years.  He is survived by his three daughters, Nancy Fels, Grace Morgan, and Ruth Smith (Ray), all of Quakertown; four grandchildren, Matt Smith, Christine Brzostowski, Brenda Morgan, and Cindy Huff (Sean); and two great grandchildren, Kaylee and Wyatt Huff. 
            A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11 AM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076.  Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Finland Mennonite Cemetery.
