2017-02-14

Mitchell Wilson King, 28, of Pennsburg, passed away February 11,

Mitchell was born in Sellersville, was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and earned his A+ and Network computer certifications from Delaware Valley College. He did industrial bodywork and paint for R&B Truck and Equipment Services in Colmar.

Mitchell enjoyed his family, anything mechanical, and was brilliant at gaining knowledge and applying it in various ways. He loved computers, cars, industrial painting, vapes, and cooking up complex experiments in the garage. After a long struggle with depression and addiction, he is now at peace with the Lord.

Surviving with his parents, are paternal grandparents: Charles and Eleanor King, of Pennsburg; aunts & uncles: Greg & Vicki (King) Thren, of Barto; David & Barbara Westwood, of Gilbertsville; Dolores (Westwood) Carcarey, of Royersford; Beth Mitchell, of Hilton Head Island, SC; and Michael & Meg Westwood, of Potomac, MD; and cousins: Nicole (Thren) Farris; Alyssa Thren; David, Jessica, Quinn, & Reagan Westwood; Talia Carcarey; Maria (Bonamico) Russo; and Ashley Mitchell; and grand-nephew, Rocco Russo. He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandparents, David & Jane Westwood.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25 th at 11 AM at the Upper Perkiomen Community Church, 258 Main Street, East Greenville. All are invited to gather at the church from 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory and will be used entirely for the benefit of the Upper Perk Citizen Drug Task Force. If donations are made by check, the check should be made to Jane or Dana King and if sent be mailed to 3322 Geryville Pike, Pennsburg, PA 18073.

Donations will also be accepted at the memorial service and on-line through his "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
