J. Barton Rader
2017-02-13

            J. Barton Rader, age 73 of Millsboro, DE, passed away on Tuesday,

February 07, 2017, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. He was born Wednesday, March 10, 1943 in Pottstown, PA, son of the late J. Earl and Grace (Smoll) Rader.

            Mr. Rader is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Regina; his children: Todd (Megan), Victoria, Donald (Carrie), Kimberly (Robert), and Stephani (David); his sister Janet Zylinski and her husband Bob; and 13 grandchildren.

            Mr. Rader made a career as an English teacher at Northeast High School in Pasadena, Maryland. He invested time not only in his students' academics, but served as a football and wrestling coach as well. Mr. Rader resided in Stevensville until relocating to Millsboro last year.

            He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

            A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Sunday March, 12, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 1244 St. Paul's Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes, DE.
