Linda Tittle
2017-01-30

Linda Tittle, age 70, of Hosensack, PA, died Thursday, January 26th,

2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown, PA.  She was born on June 13th, 1946, in Sellersville, PA, the daughter of Earl and Gladys Shellenberger.

On April 19th, 1969, she was wedded to the love of her life, Lance M. Tittle, whom they shared 53 beautiful years together building a family and a lifetime of love.  Her husband, her family and her grandchildren meant everything to Linda.

Linda was an artisan and she was a licensed beautician by trade.  Later, in her life, Linda spent much of her career at Byers Choice Unlimited in Hatfield, PA.  Her talent allowed her to be an integral part of the creative process in the development of the acclaimed Christmas dolls.  Linda was a hard worker who took great pride in all of her occupational positions and accomplishments.  Linda was also a lifetime member of the NRA and a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment.

Linda would like you to know her work on Earth is now complete.  God has a new, everlasting plan for her.   He needed an angel with absolute good nature and kindness.  She now has a different calling where she will be reunited with family and friends she has not seen in a long time.  Her new mission brings her to a beautiful, peaceful place where she will be enjoying all the things she loved.  She will be dancing, gardening, decorating and, of course, socializing.  There will be great music, laughter and love.  Linda loved to laugh and, so, she has left us with certain instructions to celebrate her life with lots of smiles and yes, unbridled and animated laughter.  She wouldn't want it any other way.

Linda is survived by her best friend and loving husband, Lance Martin Tittle of Hosensack, PA, two children whom she cherished, Heather Renee Tittle of Zionsville, PA, and Brenda Maureen Locke of Tabernacle, NJ; five grandchildren, whom meant the world to her, Evelyn Locke, Grace Locke, Genevieve Locke, Benjamin Locke and Elisabeth Milligan; and two admiring sisters with whom she loved deeply, her youngest sister, Connie Class of Hilltown, PA and her eldest, Diane Grimes of Telford, PA.

She was preceded on death by her parents, Earl and Gladys Shellenberger; and her in laws, Evelyn and Martin Tittle.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at Chestnut Hill Church, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg, PA, 18036. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9 to 10 am at the church prior to the service. Cremation was entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA  18041.   Offer sympathy to the family on our website at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations are humbly accepted on her behalf to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
