April R. Nichols
2017-01-17

            April R. (Easterday) Nichols, 43, of East Greenville, passed away

Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital in Quakertown. She was the wife of Jason P. Nichols celebrating 21 years of marriage on November 22, 2016.

            Born in Houston, TX, she was the daughter of Dennis Easterday and wife, Cindy of Smithsburg, MD and Angie (LaPole), wife of Mike Angel of Florida.

            April was a Quality Technician for Edmund Optics for many years. Prior to that, she worked for Harleysville National Bank as a Loan Document Specialist. 

            She was also a volunteer at Animals in Distress where she enjoyed walking and playing with the dogs.

            In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her daughter, Hannah P. Nichols of Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Nathan of DE and Cary of WA; a half-sister, Bethany of WV; half brothers, Kenneth of CO and Ryan GA; and many nieces and nephews.

            A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Barry Moyer officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. There will be no burial.
