Masked gunman displays handgun during robbery attempt

            On Monday November 28, 2016 just after 1:30 PM the Lower Salford

Township Police Department responded to the B & J Nail Salon (704 Main Street Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438) for a report of a robbery in progress. 

            Responding officers determined a dark-skinned male subject entered the salon wearing a clown mask, a white T-shirt, black pants and black sneakers.  The male displayed a black semi-automatic handgun while demanding money.  The male fled from the business after not receiving any money. 

            It is believed the actor ran to Scenic Drive in the Briarwyck Development and fled the area in a silver or gold colored Dodge Durango.  Nobody was injured during the robbery.

            The Lower Salford Township Police Department was assisted by the Franconia Township Police Department and a K-9 from the Montgomery Township Police Department.
