13th Annual David M. Flowers, MD, Award Presented to Diane Roberts
Grand View Health staff, clinicians and friends gathered at the Indian Valley Country Club on Wednesday, Nov. 9 for the 13th Annual David M. Flowers, MD, Symposium & Excellence in Cardiology Award Presentation.
The award honors the outstanding work of Flowers, a cardiologist who succumbed to cancer at 48 years of age. This award is intended to forever inspire caregivers who share Flowers' commitment to excellence, dedication to patient care, and community service.
The 13th Annual David M. Flowers, MD, Excellence in Cardiology Award was presented to Diane Roberts, business development manager and medical staff liaison at Grand View Health.
Diane was chosen due to her hard work and dedication towards the success of Grand View's community health initiative and cardiology wellness program, "Get Fit With a Doc."
This year's nominees included: Barbara Grubb, RN – Cardiac Rehabilitation and Fitness; Everitt Binns and Brad Eliff – Emergency Medical Services; Bethany Heintz, RN – Nursing Education; Colm Gormley, RN – GVH Home Care; Jary Heckler, RN – Nursing Supervisor/ICU; Jessica Balanda, RN – Emergency Medicine; and Sue Dengler – Buxmont Cardiology Associates.
