Mann-Slonaker Welcomes New Funeral Director Fluharty
2016-10-26

Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home of East Greenville is pleased to welcome Funeral Director Taylor C. Fluharty of Red Hill to our firm.  She is the daughter of Mark and Adrienne (Nyce) Fluharty.

At the age of 6, Taylor moved to the Upper Perkiomen Valley.  Upon graduating from Upper Perkiomen High School in 2009, she went on to attend Ursinus College in Collegeville, where she graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's of Science Degree.

Inspired by a class titled "Death, Dying, & Grief," Taylor decided to complete a degree in Mortuary Science at Northampton Community College. As soon as the opportunity arose, Taylor seized the chance to return home and serve her community as a funeral director.

She is a member of The National Funeral Directors Association, the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, Montgomery County Funeral Directors Association and the International Order of the Golden Rule.

She is also a member of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Upper Perkiomen Business and Professional Women's Club and Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville.

Taylor will have a special emphasis on assisting families with funeral and event planning, memorial services and prearranged funeral planning.
