Local Dairy Queens To Create Blizzard of Miracles on July 28
2016-07-27

Area Dairy Queens will help make miracles for hospitalized children during DQ's 11th annual Miracle Treat Day July 28, when $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating locations will be donated to local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

CMN Hospitals raise funds to help save and improve the lives of kids treated at 170 children's hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, including The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

All donations collected on Miracle Treat Day stay in the communities in which they are raised to support local kids at area CMN Hospitals. During a 32-year partnership with CMN Hospitals, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $105 million for local hospitals.

Local Dairy Queens participating in the event are in Gilbertsville, 1050 E. Philadelphia Ave.; Harleysville, 345 Main St.; Pennsburg, 702 Main St.; and Quakertown, 206 Rt 309.

The featured Miracle Treat Day "Blizzard of the Day" will be Oreo, which is still the most popular Blizzard Treat to date. The Blizzard of the Month for July in the U.S. is M&M Peanut Butter Monster Cookie. All other Blizzard flavors are also available that day. Fans are encouraged to post photos to #MiracleTreatYourSelfie.

For more information about Miracle Treat Day, visit MiracleTreatDay.com and connect on social media at #MiracleTreatDay and #MiracleTreatYourSelfie.
