Veronica Janton, 81, of Marlborough Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at her residence.
She and her beloved husband Joseph Janton celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in October.
Born in Manhattan, NY, she was a daughter of the late John and Grace (Breden) Broderick.
She was employed in the accounting department of the former Mopac/Procera Corporation in Souderton prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Janton was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sellersville where she did sewing for the annual church Christmas Bazaar, taught CCD class for third grade, and volunteered on the church finance committee. Mrs. Janton served as a volunteer at the Marlborough School for 20 years and at St. Agnes Catholic School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Heebner and her husband Scott of Skippack, two sons: Joseph Janton, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Northampton, and Jeffrey Janton and his wife Ruth of Red Hill, eight grandchildren: Sarah, Stephen, Jennifer, Joseph III, Monica, Veronica, Natalie, and Valerie, eight great grandchildren: Noah, Moses, Abigail, Zephaniah, Naamah, Keturah, Sydney, and Jax, a sister, Theresa Cleveland and her husband Wayne of Florida. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer, who died in 1986.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery, followed by light refreshments. Family will receive friends from 9:00-9:45 AM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Agnes Catholic Church at the above address.
