Catherine A. Barndt, 87 of Upper Black Eddy, died Friday, October 9,

2015 at LifeQuest–Quakertown. She is the wife of the late Paul M. Barndt. She was born in Red Hill on April 14, 1928 to the late Forrest F. & Catherine M. (McLean) Hillegass. Kitty worked as the Office Manager at Red Hill Grinding Wheel, Pennsburg for 35 years until retiring in 1989. Kitty was a member and former Financial Secretary at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Ottsville, PA. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #318, Rajah Ladies, volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels.

            Survivors: Children, Catherine E. (Kevin G.) Moyzan of Bethlehem, Cincerea B. (Robert E.) Lentz of Ferndale, Jody M. Barndt of South Lyon, MI; sister: Mary Jane Weldner of Pennsburg; grandchildren: Jonathan Lentz of Perkasie, Chadd A. (Stephanie M.) Hamman of Hellertown, Cayle E. (Stephanie R.) Hamman of Sellersville, Nicole E., Jessica L. and Rachel M. Barndt all of South Lyon, MI; great grandchildren: Caden P., Ellie K., Alaina R. & Drew O. Hamman.  Predeceased by a sister Elizabeth Kulp.

            Service: Family and friends are invited to call 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her church 212 Durham Road-Ottsville, PA followed by the service at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev.
