Harry B. Vasey
2015-10-08

            Harry B. Vasey, 93, of Quakertown, formerly of Pennsburg, died Wed., Oct 6 at Belle Haven Nursing Home.  He was the husband of the late Ruth G. Vasey.  Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Harry & Emma (Kavanaugh) Vasey. 

            He worked for 40 years for the former Synthane-Taylor Co., Oaks before retiring.  During WW II Harry did 1 W service working making bandages and in a hospital.  He was a member of Rocky Ridge Mennonite Church, Quakertown.

            He is survived by children, Joan Esposito (Nick), John (Fern), Daniel Kathleen), Patricia Landes-Dunbar, Sharon Phillips (Rodney) & Tim (Diane); 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Clapper.  Predeceased by 5 siblings, four grandchildren & a great-grandchild.

            Funeral services will be held 2 PM Fri., Oct. 16 in Rocky Ridge Mennonite Church, 114 Rocky Ridge Rd., Quakertown.  A calling hour will precede the service and interment following will be in the church cemetery.
