Michael B. Kurtz M.D., longtime resident of Rose Valley, PA and

formerly of East Greenville died September 19, 2015 at the age of 76.

             Dr. Kurtz was a graduate of Muhlenberg College and University of Pennsylvania Medical School.  He was Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Kurtz completed the Fellowship program in Developmental Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University.  He later served as Medical Director at Elwyn for many years.

            He was the beloved husband of Rosa T. Kurtz M.D.  Devoted father of Steven (Karen) and Chris (Michele) Kurtz.  Dear brother of John (Birgit) Kurtz M.D.  Also survived by his five grandchildren:  Katie, Michael, Peter, Sophia & Andrew and his nieces and nephew:  Stephanie, Angela & Anthony.

            Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday evening 7-9 p.m. at the Cavanagh-Patterson Family Funeral Home, 43 E. Baltimore Ave., Media and his Funeral Service Saturday 9:30am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 301 N. Chester Rd., Swarthmore PA 19081. 

            Internment is private.
