Pennsylvania Business and Professional Women’s Club Installs State Officers
2015-09-01

Nancy Werner of East Greenville, Past State President, current BPW/PA ID Chair, at left, installs Maggie Hildebrand as State Treasurer on Saturday, August 15, at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center, Breinigsville during the organization's board of directors meeting.

The Pennsylvania Business and Professional Women's Club recently reorganized with the election of State President, Emily Holgash, along with the other new officers, President-Elect Susan Vladika, Vice President Marilyn Tallant, Recording Secretary Diane Richard and Treasurer Maggie Hildebrand.

The BPW organization has over 1400 members state wide through their 56 local organizations and 12 districts.   Officers and members gathered at the Holiday Inn in Breinigsville, PA for a Board of Directors' Meeting.   It was announced at the meeting that in the past year $67,500 is given to deserving high school seniors and others attending colleges throughout the state.  To earn this money the local organizations hold many exciting fund raisers and events.  Watch your local newspapers and social media for additional information to attend a BPW event in your area.

For anyone interested in additional information about BPW and how to join your local group, please contact State Membership Chair, Denise Clawson at denise.clawson@verizon.net or the BPW website www.bpwpa.org.

The BPW/PA Mission statement is "To Achieve Equity for All Women in the Workplace through Advocacy, Education and Information."
