Elmer Reiter of Doylestown passed away at pine run healthcare in Doylestown on July 6, 2015.   He was the beloved husband of Jane Landis Reiter.  He was the son of the late Elmer and Matilda Bernhard Reiter and brother of the late Helen Boyer.

            He graduated from East Greenville high school and then proudly served in the u.s. Army for three years.  He graduated from Ursinus College and later received his M.B.A. From Drexel University.   He was employed by Delaware Valley University as controller and then professor for thirty eight years in the business department.

            Elmer is survived by his children Tim and Kirsten Reiter, step children Robert, John and Joseph Pistorius.  Also, a nephew Barry Boyer of Red Hill, pa.  He leaves behind eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. 

            His memorial service for family and friends will be held Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Pennsburg United Church of Christ, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg, Pa 18073.
