A Pennsburg man sits in Montgomery County jail after his arrest last week on child pornography charges.
Montgomery County Detectives charged Eric Favre, 22, of the 1500 block of Lakeside Road, with four felony counts for possessing child pornography May 12.
According to a court documents, detectives were contacted two times this year, in January and April, through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Favre had uploaded sexually explicit photos of children. Authorities said those tips originated from Google.
In December authorities said Favre uploaded one of the photos twice to his cell phone and in March he uploaded two additional photos on his home computer through his Gmail account. Detectives said those images were all of girls approximately 4-7 years old.
Authorities executed a search warrant last Tuesday at Favre's home, where they reportedly found another sexually explicit photo of a child, in addition to a video located in another email account.
Detectives said Favre admitted to possessing all the files when confronted by authorities.
He was arraigned by District Judge Catherine Hummel-Fried, who set bail at $50,000 cash. Favre was remanded to jail and awaits a preliminary hearing May 28 at 1:30 p.m. in Red Hill District Court.
