Koinonia Speakers, a community-based Toastmasters club, is sponsoring an eight session public speaking workshop series for area residents. The program provides an effective way to learn how to conquer your fear of public speaking painlessly and enjoyably.
The skills gained through the Speechcraft program benefit individuals in all aspects of their lives - at home, at work and in the community. Speechcraft improves performance in the way you conduct and participate in meetings, job interviews, sell ideas (or products), motivate people, solve problems and much more.
Speechcraft includes formal instruction, coaching and an opportunity for attendees to prepare and practice speaking, listening, evaluation and giving feedback - skills that are critical to success in any situation.
"Toastmasters changed my life. They really did. Put me on the stage. I don't know what I would have done without that positive boost," said Chris Matthews, host of The Chris Matthews Show, author and journalist.
The Speechcraft program will be conducted at the Upper Perkiomen Library, 350 Main Street, Red Hill, PA on alternating Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm beginning Feb 11, 2015 and continuing through May 20, 2015.
