Russell C. Thomas

Russell C. Thomas, 98, of Frederick Living and formerly of Red Hill,

passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 30, 2014. He was the husband of the late Pearl (Heimbach) Thomas who died in 1972.

Born in Pennsburg, he was a son of the late Philip and Alice (Fox) Thomas. He served his country honorably in the Army during WW II. He was a dispatcher/delivery driver for the former Brunner's Bakery in East Greenville for 15 years. Following that, he worked for Knoll International for over 20 years.

He was very proud of the many musical accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his children: Ellen, wife of Kerwin Leh of Pennsburg, Mark and his wife Eileen of Barto, and Martha Thomas-Beard, wife of Bruce Beard of Hopewell Junction, NY; and his five grandchildren: Rachel, Philip, Parker, Pryce, and Peyton.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday January 3, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 81 Main Street, Pennsburg. His interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pennsburg has been entrusted with his arrangements.
