Robert M. Marks
2014-09-12

Robert M. Marks, 67, of Red Hill, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Christina "Tina" (McAdam) Marks. They celebrated 41 years of marriage in June.

Raised in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, he was a son of Ada Yoder of Allentown and the late Marvin L. Marks Jr. who died last year. He was a 1965 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High. He then worked with his father at the former Smiley's Garage in East Greenville for many years.  He also worked as a mechanic for several other garages in the valley.  He was a member of the East Greenville Fire Company and an avid NASCAR and Sprint Car racing fan.

Surviving with his wife and mother is a daughter, Kelly, wife of Robert Famiglietti and her daughter, Tessa, of Doylestown; a sister, Bonadeen, wife of Doug  Thompson, of Virginia; a nephew, Grant (Trish) Long; his step-mother, Joan Marks, of East Greenville; and an Aunt, Violet Bartholomew, of East Greenville.

A time of gathering to celebrate his life will be held from 10:30 - 12 pm on Saturday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the East Greenville Fire Company. Visit his "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
