Our beloved Amanda Kaye "Nan" Hovermale, 30, of Haverford and formerly of Palm, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 3rd.
Born in Abington, she was the daughter of Sandra Hovermale of Red Hill and Stanley Hovermale of Gilbertsville.
Amanda worked at Pica's in Upper Darby and was going to college next year to pursue an accounting degree. She had a passion for music, animals, and sneaker shopping but nothing was more important to Amanda than her friends and family. Her heart was bigger than most and she was always going out of her way for others.
Along with her parents, she is survived by : her sisters, Ashleigh Hovermale of Philadelphia, Amber Hovermale of Red Hill, and Abigael Huertas of Red Hill; stepfather, Luis Huertas of Barto; nephew, Hayden Hovermale of Red Hill; paternal grandmother, Judith Hovermale of Gilbertsville; maternal grandparents Frances and Wilbur Herwig of Steinsberg; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was predeceased by: uncle, Scott Hovermale; maternal grandfather, Jesse Hepler; paternal grandfather, Jerry Hovermale; maternal great-grandparents, Esther and Edgar Hepler, and paternal great-grandparents, Mona and Stanley Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday at Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church, 1000 W Main St., Lansdale, PA. There will be a viewing from 9-10:30 a.m. prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Old Goshenhoppen Church in Woxall. Burial will be private.
