Carl G. Bonenberger, 81, husband of Gloria (Reimert)
Bonenberger, of Red Hill passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 25 2013 at Frederick Living.
Born in Allentown PA, he was the son of Harry J. and Aimee (Grill) Bonenberger of Hereford, PA.
Carl had many occupations including barber, woodworker and brick layer. He worked at The US Gauge and retired after 28 years in the Maintenance Department at Pillsbury. Early in life, Carl enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling and water skiing with his family. He spent many hours in his wood shop making furniture and other items for his family and friends. Carl was often found soaking up the sun on his patio overlooking his vegetable garden.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, two daughters, JoAnne Rehak of Red Hill and Monika Owen, wife of Bob of Florida; two sons Craig of Hughesville and David, husband of Melissa of Pennsburg; a sister Claire Cope of Pennsburg and several nieces and nephews. He was Grand Pop to nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his son Michael G. Bonenberger, husband of Coreen of Boyertown.
Memorial Services were held on Monday. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
