Pauline B. "Tommie" (Walbert) Schantz, 94, of Pennsburg died October 17, 2013. Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Clara (Fretz) Walbert. She was the widow of the late Herbert "Herbie" Schantz. She was a meat wrapper for the former Shisler's Market and retired from the former B&H Market. Tommie was a lifelong member of the American legion Post 184 as well as the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies Auxilliary.

            She is survived by her children: Bruce and his wife Tatjana and Mary Lou Brey and her companion Charles Kercher both of Pennsburg; a brother Bobby Walbert; sisters: Shrimpy Prutsman, Betty Rohrback and Jane Englert; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a daughter Shirley Conrad and 11 brothers and sisters.

            Services will be Tuesday, 11 AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 81 North Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 9-11 AM at the church. Interment will follow at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.
