Mary J. Conover
2013-09-14

        Mary J. (Schultz) Conover, 89, of Red Hill, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at LifeQuestNursingCenter, Quakertown.  She was the wife of the late Vincent Conover who passed away on September 16, 1979.

Born in Perkiomenville, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anastasia (Tara) Schultz.

Mary worked as a Toll Collector for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission for 15 years retiring in 1989.  Prior to that, she was a Seamstress for many years at Knoll Inc. and the former Rosenau Brothers.

She was a lifelong member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she had been a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Rosemarie Conover-Grosso and husband, Vance and her two granddaughters, Natalia and Chloe Grosso, all of Gulph Mills.  Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Fred Schultz and three sisters, Olga Durco, Anna Cichocki and Catherine Wlazelek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating.  Burial follows in HolyCrossCemetery, Pennsburg.  Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the mass.  Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, EastGreenville.  Share memories and offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
