Samuel "Sam" Smith, son of William and Cecelia (O’Keefe) Smith, loving husband to Dawn (Keyser) Smith, passed away on August 28 at his home in Pennsburg, PA after a battle with cancer.

            He is survived by his wife Dawn, and three children Jared, Sharis, and Joel.  Additionally, Sam is Survived by three sisters, Beverly and husband Bruce Jensen, Melody and husband Jim Magee, and Stacey Smith. 

            Sam worked as a foreman for Allan Myers Construction, Co. and had a hand in building many bridges in the Greater Philadelphia Area.  He loved fishing, playing horse shoes, and passionately following Philadelphia's sports teams.  He will be missed by family and friends. 

            A Memorial will be held Sunday, September 8th at Durham Creek Farm (4532 RT 212 Riegelsville, PA 18077). The family will be receiving guests at 1:00 p.m. and the memorial will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Memorial will be outdoors, so dress accordingly.
