Notice is hereby given that the Upper Hanover Township Zoning Hearing Board received an application from Greg Mahnke and Stephanie McNally ("Applicants") of 2463 Quakertown Road, Pennsburg, PA in Upper Hanover Township, Tax Parcel Number 57-00-01058-00-1, Block 6, Unit 16 ("Property") located in the R-1 Agricultural Low-Density Residential District. Applicants propose to install a 13'-4" x 40' (approx. 533 sq. ft.) mobile home on the 6.93-acre Property as a second dwelling to serve as an in-law suite. Applicants are requesting the following relief from the Upper Hanover Township's Codified Code: a variance from Section 500-808.G(E) - Accessory Uses, which requires In-law suites to be an integral part of the primary residence, with an interior connection to the existing dwelling; and a variance from Section 500-836 - Principal Uses on a lot, which prohibits more than one principal use on any lot.
The Upper Hanover Township Zoning Hearing Board will convene at 6:30 PM at the Upper Hanover Township Building, 1704 Pillsbury Road, East Greenville, PA 18041, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, to consider this application. The hearing is open to the public, and the application is available at the Township Building for inspection during normal business hours.
