Sealed proposals will be received by the Marlborough Township Board of Supervisors in person or by mail Marlborough Township, 6040 Upper Ridge Road, Green Lane, PA 18054 until 10:50 AM April 3, 2018 for the following:

The contract shall expire one year from date of award or April 30, 2019.  Bids will be opened at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in the Municipal Building and may be awarded at the Board of Supervisors meeting on April 11, 2018 at 7:00 PM.  Proposals must be on forms furnished by the municipality.  Specification may be obtained by calling Marybeth Cody, Township Secretary, at 215-234-9300 x10, or by mail.  Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Marlborough Township.  The township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

The Marlborough Township Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for the application of Bituminous Seal Coat on approximately 1-2 miles of roadway.  Bids will be received at the Municipal Building, 6040 Upper Ridge Road, Green Lane, PA 18054 until 10:50 AM on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 when they will be opened and read at 11:00 AM.  All submitted bids should be clearly marked:  "Sealed Bids – 2018 Road Improvements."  No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the date of the reading of the bids.
 
Bid specifications are available for public inspection at the Municipal Building.  Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Township.  All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or other acceptable form of security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, drawn to the order of Marlborough Township.  All bidders are required to submit a Non-collusion Affidavit (provided with bid packet).  Bids will be reviewed and, if appropriate, awarded at the Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for April 11, 2018 at 7:00 PM.  The award will run consecutively until April 10, 2019.
 
The successful bidder must provide a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, Worker's Compensation Affidavit and Certificate of Insurance naming Marlborough Township as additional insured.  Payment bond required.
 
The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in part or in full, and to waive any informality during the bidding process.
